Chinese Bridge Summer Camp

From 2009 - 2011, the Confucius Institute at Mason has coordinated groups of local high school students to visit China under the Chinese Bridge Summer Camp program. The Confucius Institute of China (Hanban) annually hosts over 500 American high school students to study and travel in China for two weeks to learn about Chinese language and culture.  Since 2009, over 80 local high school students from Virginia, West Virginia and Washington DC have participated in these summer exchanges.
